A historic Craft serving modern Glasgow
The Incorporation of Cordiners is a charitable organisation supporting good causes in Glasgow and the surrounding area. Its work combines general charitable giving, educational support and the focused Body and Sole initiative.
Grants and assistance
The Incorporation supports organisations and individuals across Glasgow, while retaining a connection with the leather trades where appropriate. In 2022–23, its charitable giving totalled £36,561.
Education and skills
The Cordiners support prizes and educational recognition connected with craft, design and practical skills, including activity involving Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow School of Art and Glasgow Clyde College.
Body and Sole
Established in 2017, Body and Sole provides footwear that enables children and young people affected by financial barriers to participate in sport, physical activity, outdoor learning and wider opportunities.
